The ballroom burst into cheers when the first results started trickling in. McCain has a 10 point lead over Mitt Romney with only 7 percent of the tallies in. The folks here know that size of a lead likely won't last, but are excited to see their candidate doing so well.The McCain campaign is doing everything to get a repeat of their 2000 victory. The press badges have "The Mac is Back" and the event is in the same ballroom McCain used in 2000 when he toppled then Gov. George W. Bush.
